EAP® abutments

If an implant manufacturer does not fulfill its warranty due to your use of original EAP® Abutments, EAP® Abutments will replace both the implant, the crown and the abutment.

1st guarantee

We give a 10-year guarantee on our patient-specific original EAP® abutments.

2. implant loss

If you lose an implant that has been fitted with our original EAP® abutment and the implant manufacturer refuses the warranty in writing because of the use of our EAP® abutment, we will replace it with a new original implant.

3. crown

We manufacture a new crown for you for the lost crown on our EAP® abutment.

4. abutment

The lost abutment will of course be replaced free of charge.

EAP® Abutments manufactures implant system independent, patient-specific and yellow anodized EAP® titanium abutments for many implant manufacturers.

EAP® abutments are produced in Hall in Tirol/Austria. We attach great importance to quality. Should there still be abutments that are defective, the following provisions apply:

1. Warranty period: Ten (10) years from date of purchase, subject to professional handling and workmanship.
2. The guarantee applies exclusively to material and production defects.
3. The guarantee applies exclusively in favor of dentists. Patients, laboratories, suppliers, intermediate suppliers or other natural or legal persons are excluded from warranty claims.
4. The guarantee is not transferable and does not constitute any rights for third parties.
5. The guarantee only applies in the event of a written refusal of the implant manufacturer’s guarantee due to the use of an EAP® abutment.
6. The guarantee only applies to non-manipulated abutment and implant interfaces.
7. EAP® Abutments reserves the right to change the warranty conditions at any time and without prior notice. Products already paid for in full and used by the dentist before the change to the guarantee conditions are excluded.
8. The warranty expires if the following conditions are met:
   • The EAP® abutment or implant fails due to trauma, accident or other damage caused by the patient or a third party.
   • Due to force majeure.
   • In case of improper handling, planning and processing.
   • For multi-sided augmentations and immediate loading.
   • Contraindications for osseointegration include untreated diabetes mellitus, severe bruxism, smokers, alcoholism, drug addiction and chemotherapy or radiotherapy.
   • The product fails due to wear, e.g. bruxism.
   • In the event of a production defect in the implant.
   • For off-label applications.
9. The warranty conditions exclude further costs in connection with laboratory work and clinical treatments. Surgical services are not covered in full and are excluded.
10. The warranty must be notified via email to reklamationen@eap-abutments.com within thirty (30) days of the documented defect.
11. In the event of implant loss, pre- and post-operative password-protected X-ray images must be sent to reklamation@eap-abutmemts.com.
